Training is one of the areas that contributes the most to the quality of a job. Know why we do it, how we do it, what result we expect. The standard training plan The aim of this standard training plan is to list the qualifications and areas of training necessary for carrying out the activities. The content of the plan must evolve over time based on experience feedback from the service. It will consist of two parts: - The training and qualifications essential to be able to perform the function; these must therefore be carried out before starting your activity. - The additional training necessary to perform the function with optimal efficiency; the completion of its training can be spread over time.
APPN
Observation of the maritime trade environment encourages the strengthening of safety and security protocols. Thus, in all risk areas where the owner deems it necessary, he will deploy on board ships, Ship Protection Agents to ensure the smooth running of navigation, in accordance with IMO International Regulations and national laws.
ASR
Since the first attacks in 2015, attacks on the population have multiplied in the National Territory. New know-how is expected in the use of lethal and non-lethal weapons, in the assessment of situations and in communication with its various interlocutors. The skills relating to the implementation of measures to secure goods and people, to provide assistance to victims in risk areas, and as well as means of intervention linked to terrorism, are included in this specific training.
TECC
The TECC uses feedback from our soldiers and applies them to the medicine of civilian life in tactical situations. The TECC focuses on medical and non-medical management during these phases of care and provides guidelines for managing trauma in a tactical or hazardous civilian environment, and responding to large numbers of casualties or facing an active shooter .
VBSS
The Vessel Boarding Search and Seizure Training (VBSS) System addresses high-risk situations, such as vessels suspected of having contraband cargo and which may contain hostile people. The system provides training on team operations when boarding a suspicious vessel. The main objective of the module is to improve the skills of the team, needed to perform tactical movements on board a suspect vessel. All practical training is carried out aboard the training vessel. This hands-on training provides an excellent opportunity for all trainees to train in a realistic environment.
